UNHCR Delegate First-aid Kit
Description
SMI worked with the UNHCR medical director to create personal first-aid kits for delegates going out into refugee camps and isolated areas. These kits cover basic care and prevention as well as health risks such as malaria, unsafe drinking water, and sub-standard health care facilities. Its modules contain:
• Basic medical supplies and medicine
• Sterile syringes and aids prevention kit
• Malaria control products
• Water purification tablets

Personalized for the UNHCR
The tailored pouch features the UN color blue and is emblazoned with the UNHCR and UN logos. This is important for UNHCR staff in helping them to be identified as UN staff on site and helps procurement readily recognize UN standard supplies. The bag was designed with clear pouches on the inside that help the user identify the products within rapidly.
